From Dumaguete to White Sand Bar

White Sand Bar geographically located in Manjuyod and can be reached in 15 minutes by riding a boat. This amazing place is like a gem that appears from the sea during low tides and floats on the water during high tides.

Basically sandbar can be considered as an island where you can find small cottages made of bamboo wood. These houses available for rent and you can stay there overnight. The best time to visit white sand bar is early morning to see the moment of its appearing.

If you want to visit white sand bar, you can book boat transfer or cottage in advance in Tourism Office of Bais City. Price for the boat is 2500 pesos (up to 15 persons), dolphin watching is already included to this package.

If you're going to travel to White Sand Bar from Dumaguete, you can take a bus to Bais or Manjuyod (50 pesos) and then ride a boat from Capinahan Wharf which is located at south of Bais Bay. You can also find all necessary information in Sidlakan Village in Dumaguete city.
